The National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) is a not-for-profit, voluntary organization of the chief insurance regulatory officials of the 50 states, the District of Columbia and five U.S. territories. In 2006, the NAIC launched Insure U – Get Smart About Insurance,  .org, an educational online program that provides insurance tips and considerations for consumers through their various life stages and life situations for life stage categories like domestic partners, members of the military, grandparents raising grandchildren, and single and divorced parents. NAIC provides tips related to auto, home, health, and life insurance. The videos were produced to depict how consumers in each of the expanded life situations have significant needs and issues related to insurance.
